In Mac OS X?

  1. Open System Preferences from the Dock or the Apple menu.
  2. Select Network preferences.
  3. Set the Show: pull-down menu to Built-in Ethernet (or Airport for wireless).
  4. In the TCP/IP tab, set the Configure: pull-down menu to Using DHCP.
  5. Close the window, saving changes when prompted.
