- Open System Preferences from the Dock or the Apple
menu.
- Select Network preferences.
- Set the Show: pull-down menu to Built-in Ethernet (or AirPort for wireless).
- Go to the TCP/IP tab.
- The number listed next to Ethernet Address: at the bottom of the
left hand column is your hardware address.
